By arranging elements you can achieve visual balance on the page. This wills show you no one section is heavier than the other.

esigner has the freedom to throw elements out of balance to create some special effects or a certain mood. You can also check that your page elements all over the place are does each portion of the page balance out the rest. If there is an imbalance you can analyze that if you did it purposely and with specific intention in mind.

To create a bond between people and between elements it’s better to use proximity. To have a suggest relationship it’s better to check how close together or far apart elements are otherwise disparate parts. To achieve unity you can use a third element to connect distant parts. Do you want to make your layout easier? If yes, check the align type and graphics on a page and in relation to each other. This will tell you how difficult are your page to read. Alignment helps you to bring order to chaos. Using a grid is a good idea. If there are some thing out of alignment try to do a cross check was it done purposefully or not. Keep your goal in your mind.

Repetition will make your website user-friendly. This will lead the user where to go and helps them to navigate your designs and layout safely. Cross check and ensure your page that it utilizes the principles of repetition, consistency and unity in page design. Other tips to make your website user-friendly are to check page numbers appear in the same location from up to down, size style and placement of your major and minor headlines and to analyze that you used a consistent graphic or illustration style.

If you want to emphasize something better use contrast. Big and small elements, black and white text, squares and circles can create contrast in design. You also need to check the contrast between your text and background to keep text readable. Checking the size of elements will benefit you.

To read a page smoothly its better to cram too much text and graphics. It will make the page uncomfortable. Put breathing space using white space. Check your page has enough space between columns of text and generous margin. If the elements float on your page without anchor, this also can produce too much white space.
